The Airpura R600 Air Purifier was purchased to remove cigar odor from the house when I entertain I was looking for something that would sweep the air and remove the smell It is good looking but very loud I had to turn up the volume of the television in order to hear the show The noise is quite offensive I thought that it would be quiet no where in the product description did it give decibel levels or mention how loud it would be As far as removing the smell of my cigars I think it fails miserably The room still smells of cigars the next day you notice it as soon as you enter the house I have followed the directons and have the machine running 24 hours a day as stated for maximum effectiveness
