I had to share what an excellent air purification system and customer service I ve found with the Alen Corp
I have a daughter with Autism and extreme allergies to everything especially environmental allergens like dust mildew chemicals pollution pollen etc and have spent thousands of dollars trying to reduce the levels in our home
I ve tried Electrocorp Aller Air Holmes Panasonic and have been dissatisfied by performance ease thoroughness of cleaning and customer service in getting replacement filters
I ve had my Alen 350 running over a year and can tell how effective it is when I change the filter and clean the housing which is really easy by the way how much we suffered when we were without it 3 wks at the beginning of Spring When I experienced a minor problem with it after our one year anniversary I was helped immediately and graciously by customer service they even followed up to make sure the solution was satisfactory I ve just decided to replace my downstairs unit another brand with another Alen unit based upon all the above
they believe so heartily in their products they offer LIFETIME WARRANTY unheard of in these days and times

I purchased my second Alen 350 air purifier in October 2009 as I loved the first one so much It did a very good job of keeping my allergies to my cats in check
The second Alen purifier started making a horrible noise and I contacted customer service
CK from customer service got back to me within a couple of hours and told me they would be sending out a replacement purifier immediately
I was quite shocked and pleased at how CK handled the whole problem as I was expecting and preparing to wage a war to get this problem rectified as these units aren t inexpensive
I can say it was a pleasure doing business with this company
In this business environment and horrible economy more companies could benefit from using this business model of firmly standing behind what they sell

The Alen A350 air purifier is very well constructed and the price is competitive I use it on speed two at night It is not silent but does make some noise that I don t mind hearing With the ionizer on the air seems to really feel different We still have some dust in the bedroom but much less than we had before we purchased the machine It is very difficult to keep the bedroom door shut which is most likely the culprit for dust entering the room I have allergies and the night is the worse time for symptoms They seem to be less when the machine has been running all day I am considering buying another to place in my office downstairs
