The warranty duration is 1 year ONLY as opposed to the misleading/deceptive statement by Blueair on the box of this air purifier
Box says 10 year warranty document within the box says ONE YEAR ONLY Deceptive misleading
429 dollars for a MADE IN CHINA item is a huge waste of money

The main reason I paid 437 dollars for this air purifier is the statement on the description page here on Amazon in relation to the duration of warranty 10 year warranty
I received the unit the packaging says the product has 10 year warranty too But the warranty booklet that comes out of the box says the warranty is for 1 ONE YEAR ONLY This is very very disappointing especially since the price is exorbitant for an air purifier which is MADE IN CHINA
I contacted BlueAir they have not responded at all Amazon customer service has responded though Thank you Amazon But it seems all they can do is issue me a refund not enforce the warranty terms and duration It is the responsibility of the manufactuter to honor the warranty terms And Blueair has not even replied
This is cheating customers lying to them in order to sell It is completely unethical

I look for two qualities in an air cleaner effective air filtration and silent operation Blueair gets 5 stars in both areas The lowest setting is suitable for night time operation in your bedroom The middle settings can be used for daytime operation without causing a distraction The highest setting should only be used when maximum cleaning is needed for short periods of time it does produce a fair amount a noise Filtration is second to none Have one unit in my bedroom and one in the living room every time I walk to the room I could immediately feel and smell the cleanness Times when I have been out doors and suffering an allergy attack I would go inside and sit in front of one the Blueairs and within few minutes be breathing easy again Even though these units are not cheep the improvement in my quality of life makes Blueair worth every penny After a year of continuous these units have proven reliable and energy efficient
